Betty Watts: Why I Support Martha Roby

I support Martha Roby because of who she is. Martha Roby is a Christian and lives out those values each day.  These values have guided her through her time in office on the Montgomery City Council. We need someone in Washington who will represent us with these values.  Martha Roby will do it.  That’s most important to me.

As a mother of two children, she has an eye on the future. She knows what we do now will affect the world her children will have when they grow up.  She has the mindset of bettering our country for her children’s futures. That will be a country we would all want to live in.

Also, Martha Roby is a powerhouse. She has proven so on the Montgomery City Council.  She will stand her ground and not let opposition stop her from following what she believes is right.  She lets her convictions rule the day.

Martha Roby wants to represent her constituency, not tell them to accept legislation that she rams down their throats. I’ve been impressed with her desire to meet everybody in her 16-county district. She has traveled extensively, and I feel confident that she has a finger on the pulse of District 2.Martha Roby has stepped up for us and run a long and hard-fought campaign.  It is now time for us to stand with her to win back our country.
