Pelosi and Bright Launch False Negative Attacks; Will Say Anything, Spend Anything to Keep AL-2 in Democrat Hands

(MONTGOMERY, AL) –   The Martha Roby for Congress campaign issued the following statement from Campaign Manager Mike Hamilton in response to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s false attack ad that Bobby Bright’s Democrat party is now airing:

“It’s clear that Nancy Pelosi and Bobby Bright will spend anything and say anything to keep this seat in Democrat hands. They believe Bobby Bright’s vote is worth the millions of dollars they will spend tearing down Republican Martha Roby. These false attacks launched by Nancy Pelosi and Bobby Bright are merely an attempt to deflect attention from the failed policies that have passed under their unchecked leadership. These negative attacks will not create one job. They will not stop the wasteful spending. They will not stop the job-killing legislation like Cap and Trade. Nor does it explain why Democrat Bobby Bright continues to stand with Nancy Pelosi, refusing to call for repealing and de-funding ObamaCare. Electing Republican Martha Roby and changing the leadership in Congress is the only way to fix this mess they created. I am confident the voters of Alabama’s Second Congressional District will reject the false, negative campaign Nancy Pelosi and Bobby Bright are now running together.”
