Maggie’s List Endorses Martha Roby for Congress

(MONTGOMERY, AL) –   Today, the Roby for Congress campaign announced that Martha Roby has earned the endorsement of Maggie’s List, an organization that promotes conservative women candidates. Maggie’s List was created to increase the number of elected women who stand for fiscal conservatism, limited government, personal responsibility, and a strong national defense.

“I am grateful to have the support of Maggie’s List,” said Martha Roby. “They share my common sense conservative vision and know how important it is we elect leaders who can stop the wasteful spending and job killing legislation coming out of Washington.”

“We’re excited to support Martha Roby in her effort to bring conservative change to Washington,” said Sandra Mortham, Chairman and Treasurer of Maggie’s List and former Florida Secretary of State. “She has the experience and values we need in Washington. We look forward to helping her win in November.”

Roby has previously been endorsed by such conservative leaders as Governor Sarah Palin, former Speaker Newt Gingrich, and former Congressman Terry Everett. Other groups supporting Roby’s campaign include Conservative Women of America, House Conservatives Fund, and Women Under Forty PAC.
