Martha Roby Announces Covington County Chair
(MONTGOMERY, AL) – The Martha Roby for Congress campaign announced today that Benny Jo Sasser of Andalusia will serve as campaign chair for Covington County.
The Roby for Congress campaign is building a strong grassroots team in every county in the district, and county chairs will serve as the focal point of the organization.
“I am excited and honored to have Benny Jo’s support,” said Martha Roby. “She is an important addition to our team that is growing stronger every day. Our grassroots organization will be vital in earning the Republican nomination and winning in November, and I’m glad to have Benny Jo with me in this fight.”
“We need someone in Washington with a proven conservative record of fighting against wasteful spending and higher taxes,” said Sasser. “Martha has the right experience and approach for the job. She is someone who will fight for our conservative values every day in Congress, and I am proud to stand with her.”
Benny Jo is a native of Covington County, and serves on the Alabama Republican Party Executive Committee.
