Martha Roby Releases Fourth Priority in Roadmap for Alabama(MONTGOMERY, AL) – Today Martha Roby released the final conservative priority in her Roadmap for Alabama, detailing her plan to maintain America’s strength, both at home and abroad. The Roadmap for Alabama consists of four conservative priorities the campaign has released over the past two weeks. The plan lays out Roby’s vision for conservative change in Washington that will make our economy, military, and families stronger. “America is the most powerful nation in the world, both in terms of our economy and our military, and also our values and freedoms,” said Martha Roby, Republican candidate for Alabama’s Second Congressional District. “As President Reagan said, America is the shining city on a hill, an example for millions across the globe. However, today there are a variety of threats to our position of strength – threats to our economy, to our national security, and to our values.” “We must be constantly vigilant against threats that weaken America,” said Roby. “Our military must be equipped and trained so we don’t lose our edge. We must innovate and grow our economy. We must work to stop the deterioration of the traditional family and our culture.” Among the solutions Roby proposes are maintaining defense spending at 4% of GDP for the foreseeable future to make sure our war-fighters are trained and equipped to keep us safe, deploying missile defense to protect us from rogue nations, and fighting against the deterioration of our families and our culture. Previously the campaign released the first three priorities of Martha Roby’s Roadmap for Alabama: “Unleash American ingenuity to grow the economy, create jobs, and get our country back on track,” “A Smaller, Leaner, More Limited Government,” and “Washington Is Broken, Let’s Fix It.” Martha Roby’s Roadmap for Alabama Priority Four: A Stronger America, Both At Home and Abroad.
