Pelosi and Bright Continue False Negative Attacks, Resort to Tired Scare Tactics Towards Seniors

(MONTGOMERY, AL) –   The Martha Roby for Congress campaign issued the following statement from Campaign Manager Mike Hamilton in response to the Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee’s attack ad that Bobby Bright’s Democrat party is now airing:

“As Nancy Pelosi and the Democrat party continue to pour millions into Alabama to try and save their ‘majority maker’ Democrat Bobby Bright, they also continue to launch false attacks on Martha Roby. Using scare tactics to mislead voters is the ‘dark side of politics’ but unfortunately it’s a central part of the game plan passed down from Nancy Pelosi to Democrat Bobby Bright and the rest of her allies in Congress. The truth is, Martha Roby opposes privatizing Medicare and opposes cutting benefits. These false attacks are only an attempt to deflect attention away from the out-of-control spending, job-killing taxes and regulations, and arrogant out-of-touch leadership that have marked the Pelosi regime. The Democrats can continue to throw money behind false attacks to maintain Bobby Bright as a key member of their majority, but they will not fool the people of the Second District. The voters know the only way to change Washington is to remove Nancy Pelosi – and those who support her like Democrat Bobby Bright – from power. They are ready to do just that on November 2. ”
